Max Korshak, chairman of the executive committee of the Chicago Committee for the Defense of Human Rights Against Nazism, reports anti-Semitism non-existent in the Soviet Union.
Just returned from a trip abroad which included a month in Russia, Korshak said:
“There is no such thing as anti-Semitism in Russia today. As a matter of fact, the government is spending millions of roubles yearly to encourage Jewishness and to promote and preserve Jewish culture.”
