Fire Sweeps Two Jewish Towns in Russia

Fires were reported in Lida, government of Smolensk, and Horodok, government of Kiev.

The town of Lida was practically destroyed. More than 200 houses were burned, located mainly in the Jewish quarter. Several Christian children were burned to death.

In Horodok, 60 Jewish houses were destroyed. Many inhabitants were injured. Cattle was burned.
