The first group of refugees from Germany arrived here, and some of its members have already been set up at their various trades.
The group, which consisted of thirteen individuals, was welcomed by the local relief committee. The refugees, who were given permission to enter despite a virtual immigration standstill, stayed in Brussels before leaving for Brazil. Other groups are expected soon.
