The first Jewish book published in Germany since Hitler began his persecution of the Jewish people has been published by the 42d Infantry (Rainbow) Division as a souvenir of Passover services held by the division’s Jewish chaplain in the Nazi community of Dahn.
The booklet, which is pocket size and consists of 12 pages, containts a preface by Major General Harry J. Collins, division commander, all the Passover prayers, prayer for home and the words to “America.” It is being distributed to each of the 500 men of Jewish faith in the Rainbow Division.
