On Sept. 1st the first Jewish High School in Hungary was opened in Budapest. The cost of the building amounting to one milliard Hungarian kronen, was raised entirely by voluntary contributions. The Jewish High School stands on one of the most beautiful sites of the capital, and a synagogue is attached to the building.
