The first Jewish Youth Seminary in Central America was opened here today in the presence of 100 representatives of Central American Jewish communities, and the opening of the institutions was hailed as a “historical” occasion. The Seminary is sponsored by the Jewish Agency and the Central American Jewish Community Federation.
Erick Heineman, president of the Federation, said the seminary’s establishment was “indispensable to insure the survival of the Jewish communities in Central America.”
