Mr. Lie stated that the commission will spend considerable time at Lake Success before it leaves for Palestine because it has much planning to do. He announced that the Secretariat staff which will assist the commission has already been assigned. Finally, Mr. Lie denied receiving protests from the Jewish Agency against the British time-table for evacuating Palestine. He stated that he has received notice from the British as to when the commission may enter Palestine.
