The first modern Palestine passport was issued here by the Foreign Office. The passport was issued to Mr. Kutzenok, director of the Haifa Bay Company. The Palestine passport, which is in form similar to the British passport, bears the inscription, “British Passport, Palestine” and is drawn in English, French, Hebrew and Arabic. The text states that the passport is issued by His Excellency, the High Commissioner, on behalf of the King, to holders of the national status of a Palestine citizen.
Application to obtain a Palestine passport must be made to the chief secretary of the Palestine government or to British consuls abroad.
