The first special court to deal exclusively with violations of the “Rassenschande” or race defilement laws was established at Stuttgart today, in accordance with instructions recently issued by Reichsminister of Justice Hans Frank.
Establishment of the courts was explained as necessary “to bring unity into the system of punishment for violation of the Nuremberg laws for the protection of German blood.”
Their effect will be to make more stringent enforcement of the laws which have brought fines and jail terms to hundreds of German Jews and many “Aryans” for maintaining intimate relations. States’ attorneys have been instructed that all persons convicted of race defilement must be sentenced to penal servitude.
