The first saplings of a planned 15,000-tree grove in honor of Heinrich Gruber, the Lutheran Surrogate Bishop of Berlin who appeared for the prosecution in the trial of Adolf Eichmann, were planted today in the Jerusalem Forest by the bishop and members of his family. The ceremony was attended by leading Jewish National Fund officials and guests. The bishop and Mrs. Gruber were received yesterday by President and Mrs. Ben-Zvi.
