Twelve prominent industrialists from all areas in the United States are leaving tomorrow by air on the First United Jewish Appeal Metals Industry Mission to Israel. They will view Israel’s leading metal plants to get a firsthand picture of the growing metals industry there.

Mission members will also visit welfare installations financed by UJA campaigns on behalf of its leading agencies, the Jewish Agency for Israel and the Joint Distribution Committee. They will meet with President Zalman Shazar, Prime Minister Levi Eshkol and Jewish Agency chairman Louis A. Pincus.

Chairman of the Mission is Sidney Danziger, executive vice-president of Alloys and Chemicals Corporation of New York City, former president of the National Association of Secondary Material Industries, Inc. and currently a member of its national executive committee. The group includes officers and leaders of the two outstanding industry organizations — the NASMI and the Institute of Scrap Iron and Steel, Inc. — ISIS.
