Regular train service between London and Haifa and Cairo, covering a distance of 3,000 miles, will be inaugurated this month.
With the exception of the ferry crossing between European and Asiatic Turkey and the six hour motor journey between Tripolis and Haifa, the entire journey from Calais to Haifa and Cairo will take five days and will be made in luxurious sleeping cars. When the railway between Tripolis and Haifa will be completed soon the entire journey will be made by rail.
