Five hundred persons attended a reception given here Sunday in honor of Mr. Lewisohn by the Hebrew Sheltering Guardian Society, of which Mr. Lewisohn is president. Mr. Lewisohn’s services to the city and state were lauded by Lieutenant-Governor Herbert H. Lehman, Frederick B. Robinson, president of the College of the City of New York. Rabbi Nathan Krass, and Dudley Sicher, president of the Jewish Federation.
