Five Jewish organizations have each been bequeathed one per cent of the residuary estate of Harria Maran, retired builder, who died on February 20. The estate is estimated formally at “more than $10,000.”

The will filed for probate in Surrogate Court yesterday provides for grants to the Hebrew Infant Asylum, Rabbi Esrael Elchonin’s Theological Seminary, the Rabbi Jacob Joseph School, the Beth Israel Hospital, and the Home of the Daughters of Jacob.

Twenty-one relatives of the deceased philanthropist will each receive $300, and the rest will go to his seven children.
