Sentence of death has been pronounced by a Tribunal of Justice, sitting at Viniza, upon five members of Attaman Goltschewsky’s bandit bank, which from 1921 to 1923 terrified the Ukraine. Among the five sentenced to death was Goltschewsky’s chief lieutenant, a Jew named Cohen, who it was said prevented any of his men from committing degradations upon Jews.
