Five members of the SS who had acted as bodyguards for Adolf Hitler will go on trial at Osnabrueck, probably in January, for the murder of 23 Jews in the fall of 1953 at Lake Maggiore, Italy, it was announced here today. They are accused of having killed 11 men, eight women and four children, all of whom were Jewish. The men, all formerly high officers in the SS, Hitler’s Elite Guard, are now under arrest.
