Rep. Samuel Dickstein today told the Jewish Telegraphic Agency that an unprecedented flood of anti-Semitic literature, some of it palpable forgeries, has descended upon Congress within the past two or three weeks.
Dickstein was particularly angered by a forged circular signed “The Central Committee of the Anti-Defamation.” This circular contained purported instructions to Jews not to concern themselves with the “mutable interests of stupid, Goyim nations.” It also called on Jews to do everything in their power “to help the great President who has helped us so greatly in establishing control.”
Several members of the House had called this obvious forgery to Dickstein’s attention. Dickstein said he take the floor tomorrow to denounce the document.
