A paper on an experimental investigation of the problem of mixtures of milk and meat foods, which play an important part in Jewish dietary laws, was recently published by Dr. David I. Macht, director of the research department for pharmacology and experimental therapeutics at the Yeshiva College.
“As far as we know,” Dr. Macht declared, “these experiments offer the first scientific basis for the laws concerning ta’aruboth, or mixtures of animal and dairy foods.”
