It cost a Jewish restaurant manager $400 to discharge a Nazi waiter after telling him to “shut up,” the Daily Express reported in a dispatch from Berlin.
After his discharge, the waiter, who was the representative of the Nazi workers’ council, reported his dismissal and demanded pay up to May, 1935. The Nazi labor court returned a verdict in his favor.
