Henry Ford’s auto accident, sustained last Saturday, according to a statement by his counsel in the $1,000,000 suit against him, will keep him confined for about two weeks, it was announced here, at 4.50 P. M. today, by Dr. R. D. McLure, chief surgeon at Henry Ford Hospital, where the auto magnate is confined.
The statement of Dr. McClure reads: “Mr. Ford’s condition cannot be said to be serious in any way. He suffered a slight concussion, from which he has completely recovered. He had also rather severe contusions over the ribs and back, with considerable strain of back muscles. A small operation performed on Mr. Ford involved a fixation of the chest and back by splinting. Complete rest for a period of about two weeks is indicated.”
