Foreign investments in Israel, declining since 1951, began to pick up again in July of this year, according to statistics released here today by the Ministry of Trade.
Total investments from abroad between the state’s establishment in May, 1948, and July of this year, totalled $177,000,000 and 81,400,000 pounds. Of this total, American and Canadian investments have accounted for 37 percent.
