A Williamsburg council to act in cooperation with the Brooklyn division of the American Jewish Congress has been formed through the united effort of thirty-four organizations with a membership of 8,000, it was announced Friday by Supreme Court Justice Mitchell May, president of the Brooklyn division.
The council will actively participate in the national democratic convention called by the American Jewish Congress, it was announced, and will support all activities in connection with the proposed World Jewish Congress.
