Every one of the United Nations, including the Jewish communities of the world, should have a part in the occupation of Germany, Lord Trabolgi, Labor peer, declared last night addressing a meeting here to celebrate the information of a Jewish Brigade.
Although recruitment for the brigade is restricted almost entirely, at present, to Palestine, Lord Strabolgi said that he was certain that thousands of refugees from liberated countries and from neutral countries will want to serve in it. Massages tailing the establishment of a separate Jewish fighting force were received from many potables. Several members of parliament addressed the meeting.
(In Tel Aviv, today, a torah scroll was presented to the Jewish Brigade. It Bad originally been destined for use by a Jewish regiment whenever such a unit was formed. The torah was accepted by Chaplain Lipshitz, who was recently named chaplain of the brigade.)
