Rudolf Eisfeld, former Gestapo official, and H. Lorenz, former policeman and Gestapo official, were sentenced in criminal court here to 15 months and one year in jail, respectively, for mistreating Jews and other concentration camp prisoners during the Nazi regime. The two men were “specialists” in obtaining “confessions” from prisoners. Their defense was that they acted under orders from their superiors.
