Former Israeli commandos said they killed eight Palestinian policemen in 2002 under orders to avenge a terrorist attack. The unnamed ex-conscripts told Ma’ariv last Friday that, after losing six comrades in the July 2002 attack outside Ramallah, their commanders told them to gun down policemen at three Palestinian Authority checkpoints in the area.
