Former Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu met with heads of opposition parties to ask if they would back him for prime minister, Israel Radio reported. A poll in the Israeli daily Yediot Achronot predicted he would garner more support than incumbent Ehud Barak if elections were held today.
