Former Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Barak was named special adviser for Texas-based Electronic Data Systems Corp., where he will advise the company on international business and policy issues. He will be special adviser to the chairman and chief executive of the company, which runs computer systems, Web sites and data centers for government agencies and corporations.
