Leonard Kasle, son of Abe Kasle, nationally prominent United Jewish Appeal leader, was elected a member of the Detroit Board of Education in the general election here. A former rabbi, Mr.Kasle was ordained at the Jewish Institute of Religion and served as rabbi for several years and as a Hillel Foundation director before entering business with his father.
