Paul Loebe, pre-Nazi Reichstag president and one-time Social Democratic leader, today endorsed the position of the Jewish communities of Germany which refuse to establish a representative at Bonn, seat of the West German Parliament.
In a letter to the present president of the Reichstag, Dr. Erich Koehler, loebe wrote: “Among the German officials there are too many persons with such a political past that the Jews definitely cannot enter into a political partnership with them.” He also warned the Bonn Government of the consequences of permitting the activities of “political adventurers.”
