Forty members of the National Socialist Party has started a campaign against Jacob Goldschmidt, of the Darmstaedter and National Bank. In pamphlets distributed in Berlin and Munich they term him a member of the “Jewish international of high finance which secretly governs the world.”
The halfway mark in the campaign to raise $1,500,000 for the Young Men’s Hebrew Association at 92nd Street and Lexington Avenue, was passed Friday, according to an announcement made by Judge Joseph M. A contribution of $15.000 from Chartes A. Wimpfheimer was announced, as well as a $500 gift from Rabbi Stephen S. Wise. Frederick M. Warburg. son of Mr. and Mrs. Felix M. Warburg. added $4,500 as his gift, and Dr. Leon L. Waiters gave $3,600.
