Four Israeli soldiers were killed and four others wounded in an attack on an army outpost near the Erez Crossing in the Gaza Strip. Three Palestinian gunmen, who wore Israeli army uniforms, were killed Sunday in the ensuing exchange of fire. Three groups claimed joint responsibility for the attack: Islamic Jihad, Hamas and the Al-Aksa Brigade, a group linked to Yasser Arafat’s Fatah faction.
