Four cases of suicides of Jews were reported here yesterday. Joseph Hantower, 17 years of age, committed suicide because he had not been admitted to college. The other three suicides came about as a result of economic conditions. Deba Perlstadt, 26 years of age, committed suicide because she lost her position. Rachmiel Elephant was unable to find employment. Rosalia Roterow, 50, the wife of a businessman, committed suicide because of the economic crisis.
