Four armed Lebanese terrorists plotting a bombing in Israel were captured by an Israel Defense Force patrol Saturday in the southern Lebanon security zone.
One terrorist was seriously wounded in the exchange of fire. There were no Israeli casualties.
The terrorists were identified as members of the Lebanese Communist Party. The clash occurred on rough terrain north of Taibeh village, less than four miles from the Israeli border of the Galilee panhandle.
In the past three weeks, the IDF and its allied South Lebanon Army have killed or captured 14 terrorists in or near the security zone.
