The French Government, as part of its efforts to check foreign propaganda, will shortly publish a decree requiring French newspapers to declare to the authorities the sources of all funds received from abroad for advertisements, it was announced today.
Only those foreigners who are refugees and have been authorized to remain in France more than two months will be subject to the law requiring from aliens military service or “personal service ewe equivalent to the military service performed by French nationals, “the Interior Ministry announced.
A communique, correcting false impressions spread by newspaper reports, said the law of July 20 last applied only to foreigners “admitted as beneficiaries of the right of asylum.”
