Franz Kafka’s personal library is to be returned to Prague from Germany as a gift from car maker Porsche. The collection of nearly 1,000 books, journals, almanacs and first editions of his works will be presented in the next few weeks to the Prague-based Franz Kafka Society. Porsche, which is building business ties with the Czech Republic, said it had acquired the collection from a second-hand bookshop in Stuttgart for more than $110,000.
