Rabbi Zvi Kaplan, orthodox rabbi of Havana, was arrested early this morning by police who charged him with having thrown bombs and hand grenades into police headquarters. Rabbi Kaplan was arrested at one o’clock in the morning as he was emerging from a meeting in the Havana Jewish Center.
Upon the intervention of the Center officials and after satisfying the police that he was innocent, Rabbi Kaplan was freed.
