The French Government is considering the feasibility of intervention in Palestine because of continued attacks on French medical, cultural, religious and consular installations in Jerusalem and elsewhere in the country, it was reported here today. Intervention may take the form of dispatching military aircraft as well as men and warships.

Study of the problem, which followed the dispatch during the week-end of a cruiser to Palestinian waters, stems chiefly from the fact that the French Government has been unable to obtain guarantees from the belligerents that attacks on French property and citizens will cease. Although neither of the belligerents is specifically mentioned in governmental circles, it is believed that the Arabs are alluded to, because most of the destruction wrought on French institutions and the occupation of the buildings has been carried out by Arab forces.

The Israeli representative here this week-end issued the first visa for Israel. The document is a British passport which has been stamped with the new Israel visa seal.
