Jews in Dijon have received letters threatening them with death, if Xavier Vallat, former Vichy Commissar of Jewish Affairs who is on trial here, is sentenced to die, it was revealed today.
Several former members of the General Union of French Jews, established ?uring the German occupation, testified today at Vallat’s trial to the measures he ?ook against both foreign and French Jews. The proceedings were then adjourned until tomorrow.
