French leftist organizations have called for two demonstrations on Saturday in support of the Palestinian cause “wherever it is in danger.” One demonstration will gather by the graveside of Mahmoud el Hamshari, the Palestinian representative who died several months ago after a bomb exploded in his home, and the other plans to march through the streets of the city. Among those calling for the demonstration are the Trotskyist movements, anti-Vietnam organizations and the Union of Communists. Writers Jean Paul-Sartre and Jean Genet have announced that they will be present at Hamshari’s graveside.
