French Occupy Stronghold of Druze Forces in Lebanon

Majdal Shems, the most important rebel center in southern Lebanon, was occupied by the French forces yesterday, according to despatches received here. Vadi Hajam, another important centre of the rebels, was also occupied by the French.

Prince Hamad Atrash, son of Sultan El Atrash, leader of the Druzes, was killed in battle at Maarba, despatches state.
