French police revealed today that four persons are still being held as a result of the raid earlier this week on an alleged smuggling ring at Strasbourg charged with slipping refugee Jews across the French-German border. Those held include a Rabbi Shaininschitel from Cracow, who is on a hunger strike to protest the authorities’ refusal to furnish him with kosher food.
