Ambassador Asher Ben Natan, Israel’s envoy to Paris, does not expect France’s policy toward Israel to undergo any significant change, even if an agreement is reached to reimburse Israel for the embargoed 50 Mirage jets. Ben Natan reportedly gave that assessment yesterday to Foreign Ministry senior staff members. The envoy is a participant in the negotiations which began in Paris several weeks ago.
