One Jewish girl was injured when members of the anti-Semitic organization Action Francaise attacked a meeting of the Jewish Students Association in Nancy today.

The attack is a result of anti-Semitic propaganda against the students which is now assuming serious proportions throughout France. The propaganda is conducted with the intention of ousting Jews and foreigners from French universities.

Simultaneously with the attack in Nancy, Royalist anti-Semitic youths clashed with police today in Paris, causing anxiety among Jewish leaders here. Though the battle did not take place in the Jewish section of the city, it was feared it might wind up with an invasion of the Jewish district, as has happened on previous occasions.

The University of Nancy, whose Jewish students were attacked, numbers many Jews in its classes. Most of them come from East European countries, where it is difficult for them to enter universities. They return to their native countries after graduation from the French universities.

The drive which the French extreme nationalist and anti-Semitic students are carrying on against the admission of aliens into French universities is directed not only against Jewish students but also against the many Americans. The nationalist students demand that no students of foreign citizenship be permitted to practice in France after graduating from a French university. They also demand that alien students be not permitted to become French citizens.
