Zionists in France are planning to raise a fund of £10,000 in order to perpetuate the memory of Carl Netter, founder of “Mikveh Yisrael”, the Jewish agricultural school near Jaffa, Palestine and one of the founders of the Alliance Israelite.
The fund is to be devoted to the settlement on Jewish National Fund land of the graduates of Mikve Yisrael. The plan was originally proposed two years ago by M. M. Ussishkin, president of the Jewish National Fund.
