A further appeal in the libel case of Max Warburg against Theodor Fritsch, leader of German anti-Semites, will be submitted, Fritsch’s attorney announced. This will be the fifth trial in the suit.
Fritsch was sentenced last Friday to a term of four months’ imprisonment for libelling Max Warburg. “This action of Theodor Fritsch in asserting that Warburg was guilty of treason to the country and that he gave preference to the interests of Jewry over the interests of Germany is condemnable,” the court declared in pronouncing sentence.
