Samuel Fuchs, Rabbi of the Duchy of Luxembourg, died at Luxembourg at the age of 52.
Dr. Fuchs was born in Hungary, in a section of the country now belonging to Czechoslovakia. He studied at Budapest University and the Budapest Rabbinical Seminary, and afterwards at Berlin University and afterwards at Berlin University and the Berlin High School for the Study of Judaism. He was a Rabbi of Luxembourg for a quarter of a century, and was held in high esteem by the entire population. In addition to the representatives of the Jewish community, the funeral was attended by representatives of the Grand Ducal Family and the Government, the Commander of the Army, the Mayor and many members of the Chamber and the City Council.
