Fulfilling the pledge they made last year at the conclusion of Yom Kippur services, 350 Israelis are scheduled to leave the United States and will bring in the New Year in Jerusalem. The Israelis, whose return has been coordinated through the Israel Aliya Center, will fly to Israel on September 5 on a special El Al flight chartered by Abie Nathan. Nathan, who arranged subsidies from both the Jewish Agency aliya department and the Ministry of Absorption, also convinced the flight crew to fly this mission without pay.
