Funeral services for Leopold Auer, noted violinist and teacher, who died in Dresden in July, will be held Tuesday afternoon at the Campbell Funeral Church. Three clergymen from the Russian Orthodox Cathedral of the Holy Virgin Protection will officiate, aided by the church choir under the direction of Semeon Andreef.
Josef Hofmann will play Chopin’s Funeral March, following the services, and Jascha Heifretz, one of Auer’s pupils, will also play.
