Funeral services for Frederick Sulzberger, retired jeweler, who died Monday after a year’s illness resulting from injuries received when he was struck by an automobile on September 19, 1933, will be conducted at 10 a. m. today in the Beth-El Chapel of Temple Emanu-El by the Rev. Dr. Samuel H. Goldenson, the rabbi.
The descendant of an early American Jewish family, Mr. Sulzberger, a bachelor, was sixty-eight years old at the time of his death, which occurred at his home, 25 East Eighty-sixth street. The accident was at Lexington avenue and Eighty-sixth street.
He began his business career at twenty-one at Wall street and Broadway, now the site of the 1 Wall Street Building. After many years as a jeweler here and in Providence, R. I., he retired several years ago.
Surviving him are two brothers. Municipal Court Justice Myron Sulzberger of this city and Milton Sulzberger of Providence.
