Funeral services for Mrs. Flora Bloomgarden, 57, widow of the Yiddish poet and Bible translator Yehoash who died Thursday, will be held at one o’clock today from the Brettschneider Stuyvesant Funeral Home, 49 East Seventh street.
Mrs. Bloomgarden had been ill for several years, but until her death continued to labor on the manuscripts her husband had left unfinished. Knowing neither Hebrew nor Yiddish at the time of her marriage, Mrs. Bloomgarden mastered both languages and collaborated with her husband in preparing his works for publication.
